Donna Bianca Ring
This golden ring with a wide, embellished band carries a carved resin piece at its centre, etched with clasped hands and the word amore. The hands bound at the centre of the stone signify the love shared between two people.
The ring takes its name from the White Lady, or Donna Bianca of 13th Century Tuscany. As a beautiful young woman she had many paramours, and her father wished to choose strategically among them for her marriage to strengthen political alliances. However, she herself was in love with the young Umberto. Although their love was prevented by their families, they never stopped longing for each other. In the region she is a fabled ghost in a white gown who protects lovers from their enemies, sometimes appearing at castle windows.

Domestic Shipping:
All online orders placed before 12pm AEST on a business day will be posted that same day. Orders placed after 12pm AEST, on weekends or public holidays will be posted on the following business day.
Orders are sent via Australia Post Standard, (or Express if selected). You will receive an email from us which will keep you updated on your parcel delivery.
Shipping within Australia:
- Free shipping is available to all orders over $100.
- The Orangerie charges $11 incl. GST postage Australia wide for all orders under $100 AUD
- Complimentary express post is provided for all orders over $300
- Bulky or heavy items and orders to remote areas may require additional postage costs. We will be in contact with you with a quote if this applies to your order.
Please take care to provide your correct street address. The Orangerie cannot be held responsible for deliveries when an incomplete or incorrect address is provided.
Timing to different States will vary.
Below are approximated standard delivery times:
- QLD 1-2 days
- NSW 2-3 days
- VIC 3-4 days
- WA and Rural areas can take from 5-10 days.
Shipping to New Zealand:
- Standard: $20 (5-10 business days)
- Registered Express: $30 (3-7 business days)
Please note that we can not ship perfume to New Zealand. If you do order perfume, we will unfortunately need to refund the amount back to the card used for the transaction.
International shipping:
At this stage we only deliver within Australia and New Zealand.
