Overview: This Lion Gargoyle Incense Burner is yet another inspired piece beautifully rendered in bronze by the metalworking masters of Takaoka, NOUSAKU. Sculptured in classic Far-Eastern style, it captures the authority and regal stance of the male lion, while its accompanying brass tray captures falling ash! This brass incense stand is made using traditional casting technique which has been passed down through generations for over 400 years in Takaoka, Japan. It is left uncoloured to enjoy a change in colour of the metal over the years. Materials and dimensions: Brass (plate) and Bronze (lion) Dimensions: 139x43x6 mm (plate) 30x30x17mm (lion) Weight: 145g
  • Supplied in a gift box.
  • Brass products gradually change their color over time due to oxidization, from gold to camel within 5 years and to russet brown in 30 years.
Care instructions: Wipe with a sift cloth or sponge after use. Treat with diluted dish washing detergent and lightly rub with a damp sponge/cloth if needed. Do not rub with a metal polisher.

Domestic Shipping:

All online orders placed before 12pm AEST on a business day will be posted that same day. Orders placed after 12pm AEST, on weekends or public holidays will be posted on the following business day.

Orders are sent via Australia Post Standard, (or Express if selected). You will receive an email from us which will keep you updated on your parcel delivery.

Shipping within Australia:

  • Free shipping is available to all orders over $100. 
  • The Orangerie charges $11 incl. GST postage Australia wide for all orders under $100 AUD
  • Complimentary express post is provided for all orders over $300
  • Bulky or heavy items and orders to remote areas may require additional postage costs. We will be in contact with you with a quote if this applies to your order.

Please take care to provide your correct street address. The Orangerie cannot be held responsible for deliveries when an incomplete or incorrect address is provided. 

Timing to different States will vary.

Below are approximated standard delivery times:

  • QLD 1-2 days
  • NSW 2-3 days
  • VIC 3-4 days
  • WA and Rural areas can take from 5-10 days.

Shipping to New Zealand:

  • Standard: $20 (5-10 business days)
  • Registered Express: $30 (3-7 business days) 

Please note that we can not ship perfume to New Zealand. If you do order perfume, we will unfortunately need to refund the amount back to the card used for the transaction.

International shipping:

At this stage we only deliver within Australia and New Zealand.
